About the Business Owners
My wife, Laura, and I have lived in Las Vegas for approximately 25 years and been married for 18 of those. We have two children, both boys. Our sons, Daniel and Dylan, L-O-V-E baseball and play every chance they get. They’re now 13 and 10 which has given me an opportunity to become even more involved as a father. I coach their little league team and can’t imagine a better way to bond with them outside of the home. As a proud father of these two awesome boys and husband to an amazing woman, life is great!
In 2006 we made a decision that would change the course of our lives for the better. We opened our Maid Brigade location here in Las Vegas, NV. Prior to being a business owner, I was in fine dining. My notable positions amongst many were Sous Chef at The Country Club – Wynn Las Vegas and Master cook at Picasso at the Bellagio. After a little over a year at Wynn, I came to terms that I wanted a different quality of life. The culinary world is brutal and we had at the time a new baby and a toddler. I’m now able to spend every holiday at home with my family and the quality of life has completely changed for the better.
In addition, my mother is a business partner. She is a marriage family therapist and was actually shopping several business concepts before I ever got involved. With her career, it’s difficult to retire. The business was a way to help her transition into a role with more work-life balance. Mom’s research led us to Maid Brigade where we found an ideal fit.
Reflecting back on our time as owners, the greatest enjoyment has come from people we work with. Our customers are good people who we enjoy helping. It’s always fun watching their families grow over the years as ours does, too. Also, we have a great team that works hard on a daily basis. Without them, there’s no way we could have recognized the level of success achieved over the past 10+ years.
