HOUSTON—Jim and Susan Fordice, owners of Maid Brigade of Northwest Houston, were honored with the Maid Brigade “We Are Maid Brigade” award for stewardship and community service during the cleaning franchise leader’s annual convention on July 21 in New York City. The national award recognizes the franchisee who has most increased the positive environment for his employees and sets an example of community stewardship.
Maid Brigade of Northwest Houston was also recently named the Business of the Quarter by the Houston area Habitat for Humanity for its longtime service of providing move-in cleanings for Habitat’s newly constructed homes. The Fordices and their cleaning teams also participate in and provide complimentary cleanings for national non-profit organizations such as Cleaning for a Reason, Homes for Heroes, and Helping A Hero – which serve women undergoing treatment for cancer and area veterans returning from conflict.
“Offering free services to those in need makes everyone in the office feel great, and our employees are proud to be working for a company that gives back. We believe that part of being in business is being a steward within the community and setting a positive example,” says Jim Fordice. “This award means the world to Susan and me, and to our amazing team.”
Maid Brigade of Northwest Houston provides cleaning services to residents of Houston, Jersey Village, Tomball, Cypress, Katy, and Hockley.
